Braised Bratwursts

<p>Bratwursts are seasonally versatile. Great for a grilled outdoor picnic or prepared indoors on a cool, rainy day when you want warm comfort food.</p>

Serves: 4 servings if 1 link per person


Ingredients
1 Large Green bell pepper
1/2 Large Onion
1 can Beer
1 package Sow's Ear Piggery Bratwursts

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Brown the brats either on the grill or in a frying pan on the stovetop.
  2. If grilling, move the browned links to a grill-safe dish, add sliced peppers and onions and one can of beer (or enough broth to cover the links).
  3. Cover the pan with foil tightly (or a lid if using a frying pan) and turn heat to low. Allow the links to simmer to heat through. Serve as desired with rolls and side veggies such as slaw or green beans.
